Pacific Northwest Local Interest Group

Welcome!

The Pacific Northwest itSMF LIG (Local Interest Group) provides Northwest IT Service Management practitioners a forum to gather, listen, and exchange ideas with fellow technology professionals. Our group includes members throughout Puget Sound and across Washington State. We meet six times per year to hear from national and local experts in Service Management.

Past topics have included: Change Management, Service Catalogs, Service Levels, and Finance issues in IT. Supplementing our bi-monthly meetings, we maintain a discussion group on Linkedin (itSMF Pacific Northwest LIG).

Membership in the national itSMFUSA organization is encouraged, but not required, to participate in our LIG. Meetings are usually free and guests are always welcome!

Are you involved in planning, provisioning or delivering IT services? Are you a technical project manager, operations management or infrastructure professional looking for an opportunity to meet and network with your NW peers?

The itSMF Pacific NW Local Interest Group (LIG) recognized this past year that there is currently no professional organization here in the northwest that focuses exclusively on topics relating to your interests. We are excited to announce that we are launching a new 2012 program to bring this community together to offer a larger understanding of ITSM and to move away from an ITIL centric approach.
Would you like to meet your peers here in the NW to network and discuss common issues and challenges? Then please join us for our January event!

There will be no remote capacity for this event, however  your input on the topics for 2012 are important to us. Please take a moment and let us know which 6   topics are most important to you!
Our knowledge topics will be:
